I would like to be able to post an ITConversations clip to del.icio.us and then be able to play it with the del.icio.us little blue arrow play button. I can almost do it, but not quite.
ITConversations allows me to make a URL from of any of its mp3 files which only plays a specified portion of the complete file. I can specify the start time and the end time. Here's an example:
http://www.itconversations.com//clip.php?showid=464&start=24:06&stop=25:41
This URL plays a clip from a panel discussion at ETech where Joshua Schachter make a particularly susinct explanation of why tagging works, particularly in comparison with formal taxonomies and classification schemes. The complete recording is here and the description of the session is here.
